Project Management and the Entrepreneur

Top 12 Most Influential Techie Blogs

Top 12 Most Influential Techie Blogs

I’m a techie blog junkie. On average I read five to 10 articles a day from a wide variety of tech blogs. My bookmarks have folders within folders of saved blogs and websites I like; not to mention my Evernote is full of saved articles.

In today’s article I’m sharing with you what I think are the 12 most influential techie blogs. The term blog is going to be stretched a little because a couple of the sites are not technically blogs, but they are full of techie goodness anyway.

Ten IFTTT Recipes to Improve Your Life

Ten IFTTT Recipes to Improve Your Life

IFTTT (If This, Then That) is a new app, and if you’ve used it already, you know how fun it is. If you haven’t had the pleasure yet, here are ten IFTTT recipes to get you started.

Here are ten of my favorite IFTTT Recipes…

Disrupting the Current Telehealth Model

Healthcare needs new solutions that will positively impact the patient, as well as help their clinician provide the best treatment possible. In this article I will define and differentiate between telehealth and telemedicine, discuss the current trends in telehealth and finally provide you with ideas on how to improve telehealth.

The Health Resources and Service Administration defines telehealth as, “the use of electronic information and telecommunications technologies to support long-distance clinical health care, patient and professional health-related education, public health and health administration.”

Telehealth is a more extensive program that can also include non-clinical services, such as training or meetings. Telemedicine typically refers to remote clinical services and specialties.

Go from Idea to Production – Part One

Go from Idea to Production – Part One

How do you go from idea to production? It’s a question that all entrepreneurs struggle with. Through hard work and education, I have discovered that it’s a lot more than just luck. This article will provide you with some insights on how I have had an idea and the roadblocks that came with it.

I can’t tell you how many “million dollar” ideas I have had over the course of a year. At least I think they’re million dollar ideas and how can I argue with myself? All jokes aside, I have had a few ideas in the past couple of years that I think could be useful and feed my entrepreneur spirit.
