Be an OddOpinions.com Guest Blogger

Guest-Blogger-Wanted-750

I’m looking for guest bloggers who can help fill Odd Opinions with interesting articles and opinions about technology, healthcare IT, entrepreneurship and tech startups.

I created Odd Opinions to share my experiences as an IT health care professional and to discuss how technology can impact our lives. I also talk about how apps and innovative thinking can change and improve the way businesses perform.

The ideal guest blogger will provide original and interesting posts about technology, healthcare IT, entrepreneurship or tech startups. What I particularly like is original content, creative list posts, infographics, and any genuinely useful and interesting content that fits in with the Odd Opinions mission.

Guest Blogger Do’s and Don’ts

Here’s a few do’s and don’ts that you should keep in mind before submitting your idea:

  1. Odd Opinions strives to be a professional and fun blog. While humor is encouraged, please refrain from swearing, using intolerant or offensive views or language or graphic sexual references.
  2. While I know that some products or organizations genuinely deserve a bad review, I won’t publish any articles that include attacks on others.
  3. Guest blogging has gotten a reputation for being spammy and we don’t like spam, so please don’t stuff your post with links I have to remove.
  4. I give credit where credit is due! You worked hard on your article and deserve credit so I’m happy to allow a link to your blog and/or your Twitter page in your author bio.
  5. I’m all about entrepreneurship and startups and I’d love to hear about your new venture, but I’m not interested in links to corporate/sales sites.
  6. Be original! I’m looking for original content and will be checking for plagiarism and cross posting. While I may love your article, I won’t publish it if it’s not original.
  7. I try to follow Google’s webmaster guidelines, so all links will be nofollow links.
  8. Lawyers are expensive, so please don’t make any statements you can’t back up.
  9. My editor is tough, so what she’s says goes or she’ll make me sleep on the couch.
